Main ventilation fan non-stop wind reversing system

The main ventilation fan is one of the key equipment for safe production in coal mines, especially in the production process of high gas coal mines. The main ventilation fan is responsible for discharging toxic gases from the underground and providing fresh air. The main and backup ventilation fans need to be switched once a month to facilitate preventive maintenance of the fans. Traditional main ventilation fans are prone to gas exceeding limits in high outburst mines during a brief shutdown period (unstable ventilation system), which poses a hidden danger to mine safety production.

The application of the non-stop fan down system eliminates the accumulation and exceeding of gas in the mine caused by ventilation interruption during traditional fan down periods, and eliminates safety hazards. At the same time, it also saves time loss caused by traditional machine reversal methods, creating considerable social and economic benefits.

The non-stop wind reversing system developed by our company has changed the traditional method of installing four sets of air dampers on the roadway to achieve non-stop wind reversing. Instead, the switching butterfly valve air damper and air testing air damper are directly installed on the fan section, completely changing the shortcomings of traditional non-stop wind reversing systems such as large land area, large earthwork volume, inconvenient transportation, and high cost.
